What is the root cause of belly fat?

‘Belly fat’ is the biggest problem area for most people, and it can be very difficult to get rid of it.

I, myself, lose and gain belly fat both on and off season for competitions.

Why I can’t keep the belly fat off?

I don’t want to get too technical in trying to explain all of the details, but let me explain it this way –

EVERYONE can lose ‘belly fat’ for the short-term while on a fad diet. But the fad diet doesn’t work for the long-term. Why? Because it doesn’t address the root cause.

The root cause of belly fat is insulin resistance.

What is insulin resistance?

When you eat more sugar (in various forms) than your body needs, it creates a condition called “insulin resistance”, where your body will eventually “wear out” the ability to control the high blood sugar by producing insulin to lower it….therefore, it becomes “resistant”.

The best way to reverse insulin resistance is have a ”No Sugar” meal plan.

What if you crave sugars?

Potassium. It will curb your sugar craving and will also help to lower insulin levels.

Our bodies need about 4,700mg of potassium daily for optimum function. Here is a smoothie I have created that gives me the potassium that I need every day.

Below is the recipe to my special “Potassium Smoothie” that will provide what your body needs and correct the insulin resistance you may have created over the years. It is an easy and simple way to fix your insulin resistance problem. I suggest you to drink one or two of these smoothies daily.
